Volcom Stone’s Grillfish Surf Series
Dreamland, Pecatu - Bali

PRESS RELEASE

 Sunday morning at Dreamland was crowded with kids from all over Pecatu, they have been waiting for the Grillfish Surf Series for several months. The weather was good and we were blessed with fun, glassy 2-3 foot surf.

Ketut Yoga Samadi a.k.a Mega was the man of the day and took first place in 14 & Under Division followed by Made Aryawiriarta in second, Wayan Hendra in third and Erik rounding out the final in forth.

The 18 & Under Division had some of the best heats of the day, these kids showed some good maneuvers. Wayan Hendra was ripping, but once again for the second time of this comp Mega beat him in a very close heat.

The Pro Am division was strong, everyone got at least one good scoring wave. In the end, 1st place was Nyoman Suartika with some strong smooth moves, Putu Ardianta in 2nd place who was chased by Dedi Satriadi in 3rd and Made Ardana following in 4th.

All the kids were really stoked on the day with free breakfast and lunch and heaps giveaways at the end ….A perfect end to a great day!

We would like to thank everybody who made this event possible starting Richi and the local Dreamland Crew, Volcom Team Riders and Volcom Indo Team.
