PRESS RELEASE

The season opener for the Geckofish Surf Series went down under sunny skies, glassy conditions and fun 1-2 foot surf. Kids from Sanur and the surrounding area were eager to test their skills in the water.

Grom Division was won by Sanur kid, Nyoman Badut. He beat out Wayan Juniartha (A) with some of his smooth cut back manuevers.

In Juniors Division there was a battle from start to the end among Yudi Andika, Made Opri and Sutama. Yudi, the new comer from Hyatt Reef has smartly showed off his maneuvers and smooth finishing and it influenced the judges to put him in 1st place.

The Pro-Am Division shown some actions packed surfing go down among all the boys. But at the end Andix from Sanur edging out Komang Suartana for the win. Andix gained the longest ride with a lot maneuvers.

The competition was over and all kids were happy with the free lunch and giveaways at the end of the day….and we got a lot of free smiles!! A perfect end to a great day!
