VOLCOM STONE’S HELIFISH SURF SERIES
SAMUDRA BEACH HOTEL –PELABUHAN RATU
10th April,2005

Volcom Stone’s Helifish surf series was held on April 10th 2005 at the front of Samudra Beach Hotel, the waves were small, only 1 ft beach break.

There were more than 60 young kids who participated in the event.Monot,the 14 & Under star surfed well in beginning, but Cakra Yuda had some better waves and a nice cut back in the final. Monot finished in a respectable second, with Ari Rismayandi and Dodi rounding out the final.In 18 & Under Division final, Latif looked very strong with a front-side maneuver and took the 1st place, Ujang Jitli in 2nd, Muhi in 3rd and Ribut in 4th position.

We were un lucky for Final Pro Am, slightly on shore and low tide, but Suparman who has good experience in contest surfing took the win over Saprudin, Cakra Yuda and Agus Suherman.

In the end, the Volcom crew threw the give a way to the participants and yelled... let’s get nuts....!
