VOLCOM STONE’S GRILLFISH SURF SERIES
BALANGAN BEACH – PECATU, BALI

The first series of Volcom’s Qualifying Surf Series (VQS) this season in Indo was held in Balangan Beach, it should be in Dreamland but surf there was so small.

The wave is a lefthander and the conditions 1 – 2.5 ft, side shore, it was cloudy and windy but the kids have been ready on the beach since early morning, ready to get nuts! The Grom Division final was another action packed heat with Agus Yuliantara, Agus Sudiantara, Agus Sumerta and Edi Gunawan jocking for the win.

In the closing minutes of the final Agus Sumerta did a perfect of couple front-side snap and earned himself the win.In the Junior Division, Ketut Yoga Semadhi a.k.a Mega showed up to blow up.

He led from start to finish, claming the win and get the Big Nut.The Pro-Am final saw some solid surfing go down between Made Arya Wiriarta, Mega, Hendra and Nyoman Suartika. Mega posted some solid scores with his big tail slide snap and took the win.

He was ripping hard all day.And its happen again!... all kids were getting nuts when Volcom crew threw out Volcom giveaways….
