HITTEN SWITCHES HITS TOKYO!

May 28th was the fourth and final opening/book release party for the Hitten Switches Collaborative Correspondence Project by Michael Sieben and Travis Millard. For this opening we flew to Tokyo a week early and painted two separate panels for installation at the show. It took drinking a thousand Asahi’s to make it through the murals.

The turnout was huge with around 500 people coming out to drink the drinks and see the work. Sieben and Millard were greeted with hordes of people wanting to snap pictures and fill their books with drawings and autographs. We gave away 1000 copies of the Hitten Switches book and 300-limited edition Tokyo only t-shirts.
The party went until the late, late hours and ended with cab rides, vending machine beers and convenient-store-noodle-bowls. It was a beautiful night.
