2008 DARKBAR WORLD TOUR KICKS OFF IN PORTLAND, OREGON

Kicking off the 2008 Volcom Dark Bar tour was the quaint city of Portland, Oregon, a town
known for some serious swilling. The Slabtown Bar played host to the night’s debauchery.
The theme being “Crazy Jackets” had a number of well-dressed humans strolling in,
spilling a beer down their throats, dumping gin & tonics on the ping pong table, flipping
off cameras and an overall really good time.
The stylie swillers were given Dark Bar shot glasses, Volcom condoms (pockets were
stuffed!!) and lighters for burning things to give that classic blue haze and leave that
delicious yellow smoke aroma in everyone’s crazy jackets.
With a foggy head the next day and taste in my mouth as if something died in it as I slept,
I can assure you that everyone who attended hit the snooze alarm the next day and went
out for a greasy breakfast - the Portland way!
