AMSTERDAM AM QUALIFIERS! 7/19/2008 |

Volcom had a strong presence at this years Amsterdam Am qualifiers, with both Volcom Europe and Volcom US troops storming around the park earlier today. A big reason being the amazing skatepark that the contest is held at as well as an amazing city. My favorite thing about heading to the contest in the morning is the fact that you ride a bike from your hotel through Centraal station and catch a ferry across the river just to get there.
Collin Provost was on fire today during practice and his first run stomping this frontside flip, as well as nollie half cab, and back 360 across the deadly pyramid
Grant Taylor is always a pleasure to watch shred. He skates around the park faster than most making everything look easy with such a solid style.
Louie Lopez has a big bag of tricks considering his young age. He put a lot of them on display today giving the crowd a nice show.
Chima Ferguson was on the injured list from the prior week, but already had his plane ticket so he stopped by to support his fellow teammates.

Collin Provost and Robbin Oost get some doubles action with this Nollie across the deadly pyramid.
Tune in tomorrow to see more from Louie Lopez, Grant Taylor, and Collin Provost as they all made it to the semi-finals.
Thanks to Rob at Skatepark Of Tampa for letting me use his camera.
