Even though Anaheim 2 isn't officially "Pink" anymore for breast cancer awareness, some teams still stuck with the theme as RV demonstrates with his one off pink Thor gear and custom painted helmet.
Dean Wilson was the lone ranger under the Pro Circuit tent this weekend after Tyla Rattray suffered a neck injury last weekend at the Oakland SX. After a bad start in the Main event here at A2, Deano just missed the podium with a 4th place finish.
Ryan Villopoto chased down Chad Reed in the first couple of laps of the Main Event to take the lead.
Once Villopoto got out front it was all smooth sailing from there. He opened up a five second gap over 2nd place and held on to it for the remainder of the race.
This was a huge win for RV, as he became the first rider to win two races so far in the 2012 season. Not to mention he took back the points lead heading into San Diego, CA next weekend. Photo: Cox
