DARK BAR WORLD TOUR STOP #7 – NEWPORT BEACH, CA

Saturday, August 2nd was the day, Volcom’s Dark Bar World Tour finally made its way home
to Newport Beach for stop #7. For the first time we decided to do this one in the daytime
which always makes for some good bicycle riding mayhem in Newport. A bunch of started at
our team house on 50th street and made our way to The Class of 47 down on the peninsula
for a 2pm start time. The Class of 47 is really small and the official capacity is only 73
people. They are very strict on that number so the tab lasted until about 6pm. Everyone had
a great time from what they can remember; sorry to whoever it was that I had the head on
collision with on my bike on the way home.
