When did you get on Volcom and how?

Well for starters. Ever since the first time I saw The Garden I thought Volcom was the sweetest company ever. The Teenagers part effected me in a way that I can't even explain, the whole shredding attitude and Pennywise song just gets me so hyped to snowboard, it goes down as one of my favorite parts and movies of all time.

So when snowboarding started happening for me I always thought how sick it would be to ride for Volcom. Blue Montgomery asked me to ride for Capita in the fall of 2000, he asked which outerwear company I would like to get on, you know my answer. I had made a video with my friends the season prior and Blue sent my part to Jay Twitty the TM at the time for Volcom. Blue also talked Whitey into letting me film with KingPin productions, so Jay sent me out a Jacket, some stickers, Ergo jeans and a few t-shirts and said "the ball is in your court." I started filming with them in February and ended up sharing a part with Micah Mcginnity and Marcus Egge. I could not believe I had shots in a snowboard video, best thing ever. I guess Jay was pretty pumped as well, he put me on the team in 2001 after BrainStorm dropped. Dream come true.....I still have the first board I ever stickered up with Stones.
