Thanks to everyone out there that did something for Earth Day! Remember, we only get one shot at this planet so we need to treat everyday like it's Earth Day. We are rewarding the top 5 people that entered into our Earth Day Contest with a Volcom V.Co-Logical package and the 10 runner-ups will all receive a V.Co-Logical T-shirt.

•John Howard: On Earth day I did a lot. Im only 13 but i did what I could. First I worked at the community center for 2 hours. Then i went to the Earth Day thing at my school and cleaned up my campus for 2 more hours. I really liked helping out my community and my school. I think I really deserve the V.Co-Logical package!

•Marianne Berg Nilsen: On the earth hour day I gathered my family in peace and we turned of all the lightnings in the entire house. Candles were set up all over, and it was a really nice moment.

•Matthew Graham Campagnoli: In December of 2008 I was unemployed and looking for work; something, anything. I already had a season pass to my local mountain, but I had no job and I was living with my older brother and sister in-law in the foothills above Denver. In December, I was sitting in my room staring at my two brand new never worn 07' Volcom suits. That's when I realized that I should use my education (CU 06'- Finance/Int'l Bus.) to get a job where I could wear those sweet Volcom suits. That day, I came across a position as a legislative intern at the Colorado Governor's Energy Office. I was broke, but I felt inspired. I applied for the position and became an intern later that week. To pay the bills, I took a part time job working evenings and weekends at a hotel and placed my student loans on a deferment program. The legislative session is about to end in three weeks and working on energy efficiency and renewable energy has become my passion and my career of choice. On this most recent Tuesday, I was hired at the Colorado Governor's Energy Office as a Contracts Associate, where I will assist in the management and tracking of the public/private partnership contracts. At the Colorado capitol, I get compliments all of the time about my Volcom suits. Now that I'm about to get a pay check to make the world a better place, I'm buying more sweet, sweet Volcom suits. I got a gray '07 in the mail last night. Please see my attached job description for a Legislative Intern at the Colorado Governor's Energy Office. Everyday is Earth Day for me!

•Jonathan Cioffi: Hey Volcom, I got off my ass this earth day and did good for my earth. My fabulous day started at 9 when i went to my local beach clean up. This beach clean up really opened my eyes to how we treat our earth, the amount of trash and random shit we found was stagaring. Later in my earth day i rode my bike the whole day didnt get a ride anywhere and i went at least 10 miles total. After i burned calories and cleaned the air, I gave my family a speech on what we should be doing to help our earth. To help our lovley lady earth, i brought in all the recycables to my school and all the kids in my class made sculptures out of the recycled junk. Our team made a "green" house, it was terrible. Not only was it fun, but we were doing something. Now i have changed the way i live by not leaving lights on when its not necessary, buying earth friendly products, and NEVER LITTERING. A little story about littering, me and two other friends, lets call them hero 1 and the litterer. Me and my friends were on the beach and "the litterer" decided to throw her trash on the ground. At that very instant me and hero 1 sprinted to catch the trash, it was a windy ass day and that trash was blowing so fast! So me and hero 1 ran until i finally got 1 piece, I WAS SO HAPPY! But it wasnt a happy occasion yet, i realized a piece got away. It felt like my life was over. Hero 1 and I tried to catch it and went atleast half of a mile, but unfortounetly it got away :(! IS THAT DEDICATION TO THE EARTH OR WHAT!I know my story may not seem like a not but i little can do a whole lot. Thank you all at volcom.

•Aike Lindhagen: On earth day in oslo we turned of all the lights and power eating stuff about 20:30 and used candlesticks (what i use to wax rails) then called my freinds to ask if they where hitting the off switch. when earth houre was by we desided to not turn the power on and keep it earth freindly that evening/night.
