WHAT I GOT UP TO THIS SUMMER!

This summer I spent 5 weeks on the south island of New Zealand with the US Snowboard
team. While I was there to snowboard, being there for that long we had some days off to
explore what NZ had to offer. We took advantage of everything we could. It may have been
the most action packed month of my life and something I will never forget.
At the beginning of the trip we hit up Puzzle World, a place full of rooms with optical
illusions and an outdoor life size maze.
We also went mini golfing, and shot skeet (clay pidgins) at Have A Shot. About half way
through our trip we started to go for more extreme adventures, hiking Mt. Iron, going
kayaking on Lake Wanaka, horseback riding, and bungy jumping in Queenstown. To top
our trip off just days before we left we went skydiving.
The month of September has really held more adventures than my entire 2009 combined.
There is nothing like taking advantage of the opportunity in front of you and truly seizing
the moment! New Zealand really made my September an unforgettable one and finished
off the greatest summer ever!
