Dew Tour 2014 - Portland
Ryan Sheckler and Alec Majerus cruised up to Portland, OR for the Dew Tour contest this past weekend. There were two contests held, one was a best trick contest down the 10 stair rail and the second was the downhill "streetstyle" contest. Alec dominated the Best Trick contest with a barrage of gnarly tricks so there was no surprise that he was awarded first place! Watch the edit from Thrasher Magazine below for proof. The next day was the "Streetstyle" competition which was a gnarly downhill course set up on the gritty streets of Portland. Still sore after a the best trick contest the day before, Alec still entered as well as teammate Ryan Sheckler, who just started skating again after a recent knee injury. Both were neck and neck going into the 3rd runs and the only thing holding Sheckler back was the backside tailslide on the shipping container at the end of his run. On the very last run, Alec was in first and Ryan dropped in and nailed the backside tailslide to fakie for the win! Check out some photos below and head to DewTour.com for more photos and a full recap of the event. Photos: Chris Ortiz Watch both of Ryan's and Alec's runs below!
