As every year, the Volcom Stones Wild In the Parks stopped in Eindhoven,
Netherlands at its famous skatepark Area 51. None of the bowl nor the fun
miniramp were attacked but the action took place on the sick all-wooden
refreshed street course. With the good help of the park staff and the Dutch Volcom
Family riders, the contest went really smooth.
Some of the top skaters of the Dutch scene showed up and the show was on all
day. Kids were stoked to skate with their idols while sipping some free
drinks and enjoying the traditional tosti (toasted bread and cheese)!
In the 15 and under Category Nassim Guammaz who already made a good
impression during the Amsterdamn am took the win with his sick flow and
style and good contender for the European final in Malmoe
In the 16 and over division, level went up a notch and the battle was
fierce. But in the end, Woody Hoogendijk claimed victory this year again.
Watch out Woody, 3 consecutive wins will get you a special prize!
Robin Oost was hyped and on fire all day long and received Electrics Hype of
the Day prize pack and got 50 eurosricher.
This was a good day of skateboarding, thanks to everyone that came enjoy it,
to the area 51 staff, to Bart van Dijk for the video, to Mathijs Tromp from Tacky for the pics and to Santa Cruz , Circa and Electric for the extra prizes.
