dynamic frame
- 2x patented dynamic frame is designed to articulate in more than 8 different sections to fit any head shape
- Polycarbonate and ABS blend frame expands more than 200% laterally and 130% longitudinally to ensure perfect fit
- Carbon, rivets and slotted retention plates enable movement while maintaining integrity when you need it most – in an impact
patented dual stage liner
- Patented composite protection system uses multiple materials to absorb more force across a larger range of impacts
- Firmer and more docile materials allow the A2 to protect more effectively through it’s depth of compression
- The progressive impact matrix gives the A2 a broad range of effectiveness on the hill
The Occipital Cup
- Tension and cup system designed to assist in cupping one of the most unique points of any head – the Occipital Bum—an area typically left alone by traditional helmets
- We cup this tension member down underneath your occipital bump, causing the entire unit to sit lower, closer and more comfortably to your head
center of gravity
- The Dynamic Frame strives to have the lowest centre of gravity in the market
- Less torque applied to your head; from swing weight, neck stability and impact safety
- Mass centralization of the A2 is designed to fit close and low to promote safety and comfort in all situations
non-newtonian materials
- Dual-stage liner utilizes shear-thickening non-Newtonian PU foams that are naturally soft, but harden instantly in response to impact
- Delivers a dynamic foam hardness that protects small impacts and big hits
