wetsuit care tips
Some do's and don'ts

Take care when changing in or out of your wetsuit! It’s always best to change on a changing mat or towel. This will keep your suit feeling soft and avoid rips and tears.

Always rinse your suit out after use! Use fresh water and be sure to wash out any saltwater, sand, etc.

If you want to give your wetsuit a deeper clean, light detergent or soap is a good option to freshen things up!

Hang your wetsuit to dry folded over at the waist. Never hang your wetsuit by the shoulders as this will stretch it out over time.
Once the inside of your suit is dried out. Flip it so the outside is able to dry. Leaving one saide moist and damp leads to a stinky wetsuit. Gross.

Take care of your zipper! A frozen zipper is a sure way to ruin a session. Rinse away any salt, dirt or sand that accumulates around the zipper. Use a zipper lubricant if your zipper does get stuck.

Lay your wetsuit flat when storing it! If you have to fold it up, do it at the waist and store it in a cool place that isn’t in direct sunlight.
Don't do this:
- Never leave your wetsuit in direct sunlight! Especially for a long time. This will lead to the suit deteriorating faster and the rubber breaking down.
- Never machine wash or dry your wetsuit! This will cause the suit to deteriorate faster and voids the warranty!
- Don’t pee in your wetsuit! This leads to the suit leaking at the seams and makes it smell bad. Yuck!
