"If you have extra wide feet and need orthopedic inserts for posture these boots are gonna save your life! I wore red wing boots for about a year which were great boots but man when I put my Volcoms on and laced them up my back straightened right out because they were actually wide enough for my feet to have good posture! These boots have given me my confidence back and a lot of comfort as well! Depending on how you like your toe box either order your true size for a snug but breathable toe box, or if you want a snug fit that’s tight around the toes order a half size down!"

Not at all impressive
"Not slip resistant at all and not holding up at all. Iv had these for not even 2 months and the bottoms are all chewed up and cracking. They are comfortable but im sliding around. im gunna need to get actual work boots again. Not worth what I paid. Not happy."

Cool shoes, almost excellent
"Look great, not super bulky. About as comfortable as it gets for a safety toe. The lacing positions are a bit cumbersome from the ankle up. Going to swap the laces for shorter ones and I think having a couple metal eyelets would be a big upgrade."

Not the best, but they look nice and protect.
"The shoes are very sturdy and protect well with the composite toe, and I do also like the style and look of the shoe. However, they their sturdiness also works against it as it can be difficult to put them on as they have very little flexibility, especially in the toe area where the composite material is. One major drawback is also the lack of breathability. There is no breathability whatsoever and every night at the end of my work shift, my feet and socks are damp and moist. I have had these shoes for about a month and have already developed a small wart on my big toe from all the moisture. Powder also does not seem to help, so I don't see there being any solutions. Something very positive I can say though is that the sizing is accurate and true to size. Being 5. 5 W, it can be incredibly difficult to find any shoes that fit me properly. These shoes, despite being somewhat uncomfortable, are the only shoes that have properly fitted me. Overall it's a decent shoe if you want something nice to wear at your job that requires work shoes, but it's functionality as a work shoe is not the best and I could probably only recommend it if you're only wearing them for a couple hours at the most. After about four to five hours, your feet and socks will start to get noticeably damp. To be honest, I only choose them over my old boots because I needed a flat heel for my ankles and I thought they would be nice enough to wear outside the house, as I only had one pair of shoes. Thankfully my job paid for it. I would say 2. 5/5"
